Through comprehensive analysis of European institutions, clinical practices, and scientific literature, WG1 provides a structured overview of how PGx is currently applied in cardiovascular care. Special attention is given to identifying key genetic markers, clinical adoption levels, and limitations in technologies such as genotyping, bioinformatics, and decision support systems. The outcomes of this working group serve as the foundation for the entire project, enabling evidence-based planning, improved coordination, and strategic recommendations for advancing pharmacogenomics integration across Europe.
Working Group 1 Tasks
TASK 1.1
Conducting a review of current R&D infrastructure in Europe
TASK 1.2
Reviewing the European clinics/hospitals using PGx-guided decisions
TASK 1.3
A position paper dealing with PGx technological limitations and knowledge gaps
TASK 1.4
Knowledge transfer
